Druids Glen Guest Care Journey
Our Druids Glen Guest Care Journey has been developed in line with the World Health Organisation and industry best practices, which are designed to ensure that you have a comfortable, memorable and safe experience with us. During your stay, several elements of your experience have been adapted. These measures such as physical distancing, minimising guest to guest contact and team member to guest contact, hygiene etiquette such as hand sanitising and use of PPE are employed to ensure your safety, comfort and peace of mind so that you may fully relax and enjoy your experience with us.
A Warm Welcome Awaits You
A warm welcome awaits you at Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort, welcomed by one of our friendly team members who will direct you to a sanitising station which provides you with updated information in relation to your stay with us. An adapted check in service is provided to minimise contact where you can collect your guestroom keys at a screened reception kiosk and our team members will assist you with the arrangements for the rest of your stay with us. Hand sanitiser is provided for your convenience at the reception area.
Our Guest Public Areas & Getting to your Room
Our team members will assist you with directions to your guestroom which can be accessed by the staircase or by the elevator. We will provide an elevator protocol upon entry to the elevators on each floor and encourage guests not to congregate on guestroom corridor access routes. We also always encourage guests to maintain their own physical distancing and keep to the left-hand side of all corridors when making your way to and from your guestroom. Our public areas undergo increased frequency of cleaning and sanitising to ensure your safety, comfort and welfare. We request that our guests use restroom facilities in their guestrooms to enhance physical distancing and safety. Access routes to your guestroom and to our dining areas will be signposted for your convenience.
Your Room Experience
Upon arrival, your guestroom will have been serviced and cleaned to our usual high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Additional hygiene and sanitisation measures in line with World Health Organisation and industry best practices are employed to ensure your safety and comfort with a comprehensive focus on extra sanitisation of frequent touch points within your room. We will not enter your room during your stay with us to minimise guest to team member contact and will provide room servicing upon your request only. All non-essential collateral such as magazines and single use items such as pens and paper are removed from your guestroom for your additional comfort. All linen supplies by our laundry provider is thermally disinfected and meets with Ecolab Covid 19 standards.
Dining at Druids Glen
Dining is available at Druids Glen in our award-winning dining outlets. In order to safely manage physical distancing and minimise guest to guest contact, booking of your dining time is necessary for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is available and in line with a procedure which minimises contact with our team members. All dining options, dining areas and service procedures are adapted to ensure physical distancing is maintained for your safety and comfort. Hand sanitising facilities will be provided at the entrance to each dining area for your convenience.

Our team has developed one comprehensive menu which will be available daily from 12.30pm - 9.30pm and is served throughout our dining outlets. Tables are allocated by our Food & Beverage Team in order to comply with physical distancing measures. We cannot guarantee a specific area or table during this time
The Spa at Druids Glen
The Spa at Druids Glen is located on the third floor and is open under the guidance of the Irish Spa Association approved protocols where a number of approved treatments are on offer and all of our therapists have been specifically retrained on how to safely provide these treatments to you using appropriate techniques and PPE. Hand sanitising facilities are provided upon entering the Spa and in each treatment room.
The Health Club at Druids Glen
The Health Club at Druids Glen is located on the 2nd floor and the pool is open during your stay. Family swim times are from 8am - 11am and 2pm - 6pm. It is essential to pre-book in line with government guidelines. Hand sanitising facilities are provided upon entering the Health Club. The swimming time is strictly limited to 40 minutes per time slot and the exact number of people hoping to swim must be included at the time of booking, unfortunately it will not be possible to add another guest at a later date. Only those availing of the swimming pool will be allowed within the health club / on the pool deck. In order to ensure all guests are given a fair opportunity to use the pool, swimming will be limited to one swim per family per day. We would ask that you arrive to the swimming pool in your swim wear and hotel robe that will be provided in your room, towels will be provided at the health club reception. Unfortunately there will be no changing facilities available at the health club. Swimming hats are compulsory and can be purchased from the reception for €3.50 if required. Children's On-Site Activities
For parents, we understand how important it is to ensure your child is safe and entertained. As we are not in a position to run our seasonal Kids High Tea Club at this time, we have some fun family alternatives. Parents must supervise all activities to ensure effective physical distancing & hygiene measures amongst their children.
Guest Assistance & Enquiries
At all times, we will be here to assist you with any query you may have and will always do so in a safe manner by conducting guest queries by telephone where possible or by maintaining a physical distance of at least 2 metres . We will not enter your guestroom at any time unless requested to do so or except in the case of an emergency. Should you our team be required to enter your guestroom in an emergency or if you require first aid for any reason, appropriate PPE will always be worn by our team members.
Our Team Wellness and Training
The health and wellness of our team is important to us and important to you currently also. Our team have undergone extensive retraining in Covid-19 policies such as handwashing, cough etiquette and sickness and absence procedures. All our team have also completed health declarations and have their temperatures recorded upon commencement of work each day. We conduct daily shift briefings in each area of the resort and our Covid-19 Safety and Welfare Team meet daily to review our safety and hygiene procedures.

When the sad time comes to leave us, full assistance is provided to you upon check out where an express checkout facility is available for your comfort. We look forward to taking extra special care of you and making more special memories in the future.
