Real Weddings

Nessa’s support and calm presence meant more than I can express with the planning of our wedding. From the moment we began planning to the very last detail on the day itself, she brought such warmth, organisation and grace to the process. I always felt in the best of hands. Every member of the Druids Glen Team was exceptional on the day & day 2 – so professional, attentive and kind to both ourselves and our guests. Everything ran seamlessly and the feedback we’ve received has been glowing. We cannot thank the entire team enough. I can’t not mention Robbie, who from the moment we arrived was a knight in shining armour – I swear he appeared like magic at every moment I needed something. An absolute gent! And Saibhe who was an exceptional support throughout the day and evening and ensured every need was met, she was just fantastic. Our wedding at Druids Glen exceeded our expectations. I poured so much thought into each detail, but the way it all came together was beyond what we hoped. The Woodland and the ballroom looked incredible. I did have a little personal battle with the spotlight, but Nessa’s support helped me push through. We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at such a wonderful venue with incredible staff.

We got married in Druids Glen in July 2023. It was the best decision we made. We were lucky enough with unpredictable Irish weather to get married outside. The outside area they have reserved for ceremonies is nothing short of magical surrounded by the beautiful nature that Wicklow (the garden of Ireland) has to offer. It was everything we wanted. Nessa, the wedding coordinator, there are honestly no words to describe how amazing and hands on she is! She gave us so much of her time to make our wedding personal to us. Nessa was only ever an email away and we were never waiting on a reply, she always got back to us straight away.I got ready in the venue with my bridesmaids and she was checking in throughout the morning to make sure we had everything needed. She took care of absolutely everything. Anything I was worried about Nessa was there to fix, she was a fairy god mother on one of the most special days of our life. My husband and I are not very organised but Nessa was so incredibly patient with us. Nicky another mention was also incredible and anything we needed he sorted. Our friends and family had an amazing day and every single one of them commented on how amazing the staff were, from checking in, waiting staff, and everyone else, they are all a credit to this beautiful venue. The food and service was outstanding. As I mentioned we are not the most organised and Nessa at one of our meetings gave us a list of vendors everything from celebrants, flowers, photography and hair and make up. It made planning our wedding very stress free. I would 100 percent recommend druids Glen as your wedding venue, amazing food, cocktails, outdoor/indoor space. They even allowed our dog to join the ceremony. They made our wedding day perfect, and we are so thankful to each and every member of staff.
