Is there a playground or play area for children? Yes, we have Druids Den an indoor play area including a soft play area, wall puzzles, arcade machine, foosball and air-hockey as well as weekend movies every evening. We also have an outdoor playground with swings, slides, jungle gym and a roundabout.
Is the play area supervised? No, the children's indoor play area is unsupervised so parents are kindly advised to supervise their children at all times. The play area is located on the ground floor and is in a secure room close to the lower lobby which is near reception.
Are there any other services or facilities that you provide for children? Yes, we have an extensive DVD library which children and adults can avail of, all of our guest rooms offer a DVD player. We also run a kid’s club during midterm breaks and summer holidays. Please see our kids club page for further information.
Does the hotel provide a babysitting service? Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort works with the Belgrave Agency, who provide babysitting services to many hotels throughout the Dublin and Wicklow area. All babysitters are experienced in childcare, have completed First Aid Training and have been Garda vetted. What is the cost of your babysitting service? A fee of €12 per hour is payable directly to the babysitter. There is a booking fee of €25 plus VAT for daytime cover and a fee of €20 plus VAT for an evening babysitter after 6.00pm. This is payable directly to the agency at the time of booking.
Can your family rooms cater for 2 adults and 3 children? Due to health and safety regulations our rooms can only accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. If you have a 3rd or 4th child we can accommodate you in an interconnecting room. Our interconnecting rooms consist of a room with a king bed which connects to another room with 2 large double beds.
Do you provide cots or rollways? Yes, we can provide a cot and rollaway in your room if required. There is no additional charge for Deluxe and Superior level rooms. These must be requested at booking stage or at least 7 days prior to arrival and are subject to availability.
Do you have bottle warmers or use of a microwave in the hotel? Yes, we have a kitchenette which is accessible 24 hours a day where there is use of a fridge, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer and microwave. This is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
